Latin3G Labs department offers an area dedicated to projects and research. This enables us to get early feedback and to react to trends and adapt our apps to market and customers needs.
Our development force spend a significant portion of time researching and building technological blocks to implement them on future applications.
Currently there are three lines of research:

Bidirectional Streaming Video
The implementation of digital cameras on smartphones have generated an opportunity to develop communication tools supporting real time video and audio.
This research focuses on the implementation of applications that support video calls on any mobile device with a camera.

Augmented reality on Android devices
Geo-location tools play an important role in mobile devices. Latin3G Labs team now has the ability to apply augmented reality applications for iPhone, and has a line of research to bring it to other platforms such as Android and Blackberry devices.

Internet Radio
Latin3G currently has several players for radio stations on iPhone, but we also work in adapting streaming formats that the iPhone and other smartphones do not support.
