At Latin3G we think that the Smartphone is very powerful tool and not only a simple way of communicate… I think that you can easily agree with that!
With our applications, we want to prove that a “Smart-Phone” deserves his name! Smartphones are able to change your daily life…

Do you know what a Cellbot is?
A Cellbot is a robot but a particular one… His brain is a… Smartphone of course!
The Cellbots can be used with WiFi or 3G connexion but they can also be autonomous.
They just have a mobile chassis, with wheels which are a clever extension of the Smartphone platform, and the smartphone as brain.
You know what it means? With your Smartphone, you have almost a robot.
The Smartphones have actually all the necessary components of a robot: video camera, audio, GPS, accelerometer… We make many researches every day to insert all of these functionalities in our applications, can you imagine all the possibilities? If you want to test your development’s skills why don't you create your own Cellbot?
A free Challenge, will take place during the Appcon show from the 24th to the 26th of August 2010 in Las Vegas.
The Appcon show is dedicated to mobile applications: conferences, expositions and challenges!
During the challenge you will have to your disposal a chassis, an API and some example of code for Android platform. But if you want you can use another platform indeed the Cellbot is compatible with all Smartphones.
